As a rhd Bentley, this 1954 drophead
took a 1st at the Rolls-Royce
national
meet in 1994. The owner then decided
to change the car over to lhd.
After building the main part of the dash,
we shipped it back for fitting prior to
veneering. It is this fit session that is
absolutely critical to the ultimate success
of such an operation.
We veneered the dash and instrument
cluster following the original in walnut
crotch and trimmed it with zebrano.
This photo shows the two dashes
as they mirror each other. Note the
addition of a driver's side glove box.
